Boston Renaissance Charter Public School

As one of the largest charter schools in Boston, Boston Renaissance Charter Public School (BRCPS) needed a broader learning environment to support the school’s mission to nurture and develop academic, social, and emotional competence for its approximately 1,000 school children attending grades K through six. VHB was engaged to provide transportation engineering and environmental permitting services in support of the school’s move to a new six-acre campus. Providing 105,000 square feet of academic and athletic space, playing fields, convenient parking accommodations and parent pick-up/drop-off areas, the school’s relocation also included the rehabilitation of historic buildings and construction of new building additions.
