John Classe, PE, Real Estate Market Leader, has been honored with an invitation to join the Urban Land Institute's (ULI) Community Development Council (CDC) - Silver. The CDC is composed of leading real estate and land use professionals committed to guiding sustainable and innovative community development practices.
A recognized leader in the industry, John has consistently been at the forefront of pioneering projects that blend innovation with sustainability. His work, which spans a variety of high-impact developments, has been instrumental in creating vibrant, livable spaces that prioritize both environmental stewardship and economic vitality. As part of the Council, John will work with members to share best practices in planning, finance, and the development of traditional and non-traditional communities.

Currently, John serves on the ULI Central Florida Advisory Board. Prior to joining VHB, John served as CEO and District Administrator to the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (former Reedy Creek Improvement District) and Vice President of Residential at Crescent Communities, leading the development of master-planned communities throughout Florida. One of John’s signature achievements was leading the creation and development of the built-environment of Baldwin Park, a mixed-use master-planned New Urbanism community and ULI Excellence Award winner.
