Nadia Boller, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Transportation Technology Group Task Manager, has been appointed to the Intelligent Transportation Society of Virginia’s (ITSVA) Board of Directors. ITSVA is known for fostering a community of ITS professionals who advance safe, equitable, and effective mobility throughout the Commonwealth. Nadia’s leadership role with ITSVA will foster connections and build industry relationships, leading to valuable collaboration and insight into advancements, emerging trends, and policy shifts within the field.
With more than 16 years of experience in smart transportation systems, Nadia works at the forefront of innovative, technology-driven projects that enhance urban mobility and safety. Her involvement in projects, such as the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO’s) Triangle Region ITS Strategic Deployment Plan and the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) I-66 Outside the Beltway project, include ITS strategies and action plan development to improve traffic flow, reduce travel times and congestion, enhance safety and user convenience.
