VHB’s Raffaela Dunne, Northeast Regional Institutional Director, has been invited to join the Board of Governors for the New York Building Foundation. This pivotal role will enable Raffaela to aid in steering the continued growth of the New York City building industry.
Founded in 1998, the New York Building Foundation acts as the charitable arm of the Building Congress, dedicated to the enhancement of the city's construction sector. Through a blend of research, education, and philanthropy-based initiatives, the foundation, aided by the collective resources of the building industry, works tirelessly for the betterment of New Yorkers. As a Board of Governors member, Raffaela will help guide the foundation’s initiatives and programs in support of its mission.
In addition to her new role, Raffaela will also serve as Co-Chair of the New York Building Congress' Healthcare & Life Sciences Committee for 2024 and 2025. This committee focuses on the financing, design, and evolution of infrastructure within New York City’s healthcare sector, contributing substantially to the city's economic framework. Being privy to the complexities of the city's public hospital system, proposed projects at leading healthcare facilities, and innovative financing methods, Raffaela will collaborate with esteemed committee members such as Jonathan Cogswell of Northwell Health and Brian Marman of Lend Lease. Together, they will shape the committee's discourse, guiding its focus, and making progress towards a better, healthier New York.
Raffaela’s contributions in her new roles will undoubtedly have a significant bearing on the progression of the building industry, aligning perfectly with her unyielding commitment to progress and development.
