VHB has been named a 2023 Best Places to Work by Virginia Business, a print and digital magazine reporting on the State’s business intelligence. For the seventh year in a row, VHB joins a prestigious list of 100 companies that were evaluated based on direct employee feedback. VHB was ranked #7 in the Large Employers category (250+ U.S. employees) for keeping employees’ well-being top of mind, putting emphasis on professional growth, offering a flexible work environment, and their generational company model.
“We are honored to again be recognized as one of Virginia’s best places to work and are thrilled to be able to celebrate with the ones that make this happen in person this year,” said Nancy Barker, Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager. “With so much change and movement happening within the workforce, this ranking means a great deal to leadership. Between this survey, and our corporatewide annual survey, we are continually looking at ways to make VHB a great place to work year after year, including continued investment in our people.”
The application process was designed to highlight what makes a business stand out from “standard workplaces.” An Employee Engagement and Satisfaction Survey was given to employees to determine what they love most about where they work. Companies are benchmarked on a list of core values: leadership and planning; corporate culture and communication; role satisfaction; work environment; relationship with supervisor; training and benefits; pay; and overall engagement.

VHB is passionate about making meaningful contributions to the Commonwealth through the work that we do.
