LifeNet is the world’s most trusted provider of transplant solutions and a leader in the field of regenerative medicine. When LifeNet chose Virginia Beach for its global headquarters and research center, it needed a team that it could trust to help advance its mission and meet critical construction deadlines. VHB’s deep roots in Virginia Beach, proficiency in developing health care campuses, and experience on design build projects meant that we didn’t skip a beat. To meet an aggressive construction schedule, we secured approvals and permitted the project in phases. We carefully laid out the campus and designed different arrival sequences for patients, health care professionals, researchers, and organ transplant teams while creating special healing spaces for donors and their families. VHB kept the campus expansion on track—enabling LifeNet to focus on its core mission of healing.
