Killington Ski Resort, Great Gulf and the Town of Killington have partnered to create a new, multi-use, all-season community village at the main base area of the resort. The master-planned community will feature a beautiful base lodge and expansive ski beach, lush pedestrian areas, 32,000 square feet of commercial space including retail and restaurant spaces, social and wellness amenities, venues for concerts and ice skating, and approximately 225 new housing units (with the potential for 2,000 future units).
Together with the architects, developer, municipality, and resort, the VHB planning team is focused on developing a “ski-in, ski-out” walkable community, connecting the village directly to the slopes. The master plan also provides for local infrastructure improvements to improve transportation capacity and accessibility, as well as a new municipal water system.
Part of the Resort’s multi-phased improvement plans, the village will be a significant contributor to Killington’s growth as a premier East Coast ski mountain and year-round recreational destination.
